Homemade ginger turmeric tea with fresh spices

This ginger turmeric tea (haldi-adrak style) is an easy everyday drink you can make at home with pantry ingredients. Use fresh or ground spices. Lemon is optional.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric or 1-inch fresh turmeric

  2. Add ginger and turmeric. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain into a cup. Add lemon if using.
